Our fellow gaels in Quebec City have organised a few games of football against the crew of a visiting naval vessel from the Irish Navy on Saturday 31st May on the Plains of Abraham.

LE Roisin is in Quebec City as part of the city's 400th anniversary celebrations.

Quebec City May 31st Gaelic Football Friendly:

13h30: Arrivée des joueurs de gaelic et arrivée des cadets musiciens a l'école st-pats.
(Arrival of players at St-Pat's High School transportation for LE Roisin organized by "Rendez-vous naval de Quebec", also arrival of cadets with marching drums)

14h00: Depart a pied sous escorte des cadets trottoir rue De Maisonneuve + trottoire Fraser+trottoir rue Cartier + trottoire Grande-Allée = Plaines.(Cadets march the players from St-Pat's to pitch on sidewalk of streets De Saleberry+Fraser+Cartier+Grande-Allee=Plains)

14h10 14h15: Arrivée des joueurs sur le terrain et échauffement (Arrival of the players at the pitch, warm-up)

Coverage of the All-Ireland Championship will start this Sunday at O'Regan's Irish Pub on Bishop.

Admission will be $20.

The season pass will be available on Sunday 18th May only, cost is $100 and this
does not include the All-Ireland Finals.

Saturday 17th May sees the Montreal Shamrocks, hosting the 23rd year of their Annual 9-a-side tournament at John Abbott College at St. Anne de Bellevue.
 
This year we will be welcoming teams from Quebec City, Ottawa, and Brampton, Ontario.  We will also be hosting a ladies team who recently lined out for Soeul Gaels in South Korea.
 
The games are scheduled to get under way at 11:00 am on Saturday morning, so please come out and join us for what should be an action-packed, fun-filled day.
